LIVE
Reeta is a speaker and live performer that fuses poetry, comedy, music and storytelling to weave powerful narratives.
Reeta’s talks and live shows are playful and educational, inviting the audience to reflect on themselves and society. Themes include freedom, survival and hope while centring chosen family, healing and self-compassion as remedies to systemic oppression and abuse. As a Buddhist Reeta provides a contemporary feminist and queer lens on ancient teachings for individual and collective liberation.
As a Dalit growing up in an arranged marriage culture that has fought for her own liberation as a lesbian, as well as for her community on a global stage, Reeta has a unique and powerful voice.
A voice ahead of its time, Reeta’s talks and live shows are uplifting and energised and lead audiences in awe and on a path self-exploration.

"When we invited Reeta to give a TEDxLondonWomen talk, we knew it was going to be magic - but we had no idea the energy and emotion that Reeta would bring. Their thoughtful, challenging and personal talk and performance resonated deeply with our audience."
